I started my career at The Cornell Daily Sun, an independent daily newspaper run by university undergrads. (I was an English major, too, but you’re probably not here to chat about the poetry of John Donne.)

While I never caught the reporting bug (or the academic jones) at Cornell, I did find my calling as an editor. I’ve worked everywhere from tech weeklies and trade papers to national magazines and book publishers. In the process, I’ve become a quick-witted wordsmith, a first-rate interviewer, and a tireless researcher. As it turns out, my journalistic and publishing skills are great assets in helping others publish their life stories.

  • As a ghostwriter, I know when to ask questions and when to let your words speak for themselves. I can craft episodes that would otherwise go untold and research details that bring your story to life.

  • As a developmental editor, I see the big picture of your manuscript and give you feedback based on your writing and publishing goals. I can help structure your work to make it readable and engaging.

  • As a writing coach, I provide analysis, inspiration, and exercises designed around your needs and interests. We’ll work together in one-on-one sessions to help plan a new project or to advance a work in progress.
